Coastal Pastoral

by Brent S. House

Gulls embellish desire as coast

scents of salt breeze the banks

least tern coast vapid currents

a far eye drawing land in sight

pressure of retribute wind

gambles neon & plied antebellum

mansions bearing wind

without sounding dross or beauty

an equal rage of desire

& deep gray in winds wake.
