Lee Zacharias Non-Fiction Reading

On Thursday, 19 November 2009, Lee Zacharias read at the Weatherspoon Museum on Spring Garden Street in Greensboro, NC. Her reading was part of Will Read For Food, an annual benefit for Greensboro charities. The event was sponsored by the MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro. Fiction writer Michael Parker organized the event and introduced the readers.

Lee Zacharias is the author of a novel, Lessons, and a book of short stories, Helping Muriel Make It through the Night. She has published numerous essays, short stories, and photographs and is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the North Carolina Arts Council.
