On Thursday, January 29, 2009, Steve Cushman read at the the UNCG Faculty Center on College Avenue in Greensboro, NC. The event was sponsored by The MFA Writing Program at UNC Greensboro, The Greensboro Review, and Spring Garden Press.

A graduate of the MFA Writing Program at Greensboro, Steve Cushman is the author of Fracture City, a collection of short fiction, and Portisville, winner of the 2004 Novello Literary Award. His work has been published in a variety of journals, newspapers, and magazines including 100% Pure Florida Fiction, North American Review, Raleigh News & Observer, and Waccamaw.

After an introduction by Jamey Bradbury,a second-year MFA student at UNC Greensboro and fiction editor for The Greensboro Review, Cushman read an excerpt from Fracture City. Listen to the podcast below.
